Prop 46

The voters of Woodstock repealed Prop 46 on March 9, 2023 and rejected again on May 16, 2023.

The repeal of Prop 46 gives Woodstock the chance to function like every other town, with the

checks and balances of Town Meeting and the annual Budget Referendum.

 

Prop 46 disenfranchised voters because it didn't allow us to see a reasonable budget from our

Board of Finance. This year we have a say in Woodstock’s budget - let’s keep it that way!
